Governor Daley?
- Former White House Chief of Staff William Daley talked a lot about a lack of “leadership” in Illinois government Thursday as he continued to mull a run for governor in 2014.
“I am thinking about it seriously. We are a way’s off [from the next gubernatorial campaign],” said Daley to applause from a packed house at a City Club of Chicago luncheon.
What, Lisa Madigan suddenly decided to drop out? Not enough meat left on the carcass of Illinois to interest her or her daddy?

I don't think Lisa 'dropped out'. This is Daley's pre-emptive strike, to keep her out of the race. It would take a big, big trade-off to get him to change his mind and decline to run.
God save us from the Daley family.

Daley isn't going to run for Governor. He talks the smack about running. Won't do it. Previously he has talked about running on 2-3 prior occasions. Just ego-stroking himself. Wants to give the sheeple the impression that he and his thieving family are still important.
He like Madigan can get everyone to do what they are told. We might go from 48th worst run state to 47th.
If Bill Daley becomes Governor of Illinois, one can only blame the sheeple voters of this bad luck broke-ass

Downstate Illinois will NEVER vote for a Daley. Watch the Vanecko case. His lawyers know if it goes downstate he will be convicted.

When Daley is elected his first act will be to pardon Vanecko. Vanecko's first action after getting out of jail will be hiring Loevy to sue everyone involved for violating his civil rights.

Daley has to run, or make it appear he is running for two reasons:
1) To influence the Vanecko.trial. If you don't acquit, the Daley will become governor, pardon him, and screw you.
2) The Chicago.Casino. How DARE they approve it now that Richie is out. The Daleys have to take their piece. John will.sell insurance. The other three will be hired by connected, blessed contractors that get a piece, but.on other projects. It.will look like XYZ got a.piece of the.casino, but hired a Daley out of the blue, to consult on a totally different project.

Don't blame the down staters. Out of all the counties in Illinois, Quinn only won maybe 2 or 3. Crook County was enough to carry the State. The same with the last election.

I agree with the previous commentator: I would never vote for ANYONE with the name of Daley or madigan. Those two families are almost solely responsible ( besides the dumb assed voters) for driving the state and city to near bankruptcy, not to mention making their families and friends wealthy.
Lets hope that Bill Brady will throw his hat in the ring again. He almost made it last time.

What he should have said, and I would have totally agreed with, is that there is a complete lack of leadership in Chicago government. This would include the current and past mayor!
I see this as way-clearing for Madigan. Anything to keep the spotlight off of her ascension once they're done using Quinn to wipe their hands with.
With the hoo-hah surrounding a Daley, Madigan stays silent and does nothing.
Very much the way that community organizer got the climb to the top done so easily: no record, no footprints, a few photo ops helping the "little people", and just waiting for the Axelrods to do their work taking down the opposition (Jack Ryan: does that name ring a bell?).

I really hope you're right.
The next election for governor is a long ways away. Right now there is just some minor jockeying for position going on.
I would not be surprised to see some kind of stealth candidate put forth by the Chicago criminal conspiracy to deflect attention a little, but make no mistake, whoever runs will be owned 100% by the crime syndicate.

This is what we thought when potato-head got elected.
He only won 2 counties in Illinois, but still got elected in.
Cook and the county surrounding St Louis were the only ones that were solidly blue. The rest of the state was red and look what happened.

The City votes were a result of the Unions, just like the President. Another election bought and paid for...with YOUR tax payer dollars by the way.

I am pulling out of this rat hole state in the Spring. Lived all my life in Chicago and after retiring with 33 years why the fuck should I stay.
Fuck all these crooks in office, I will get a a mile long farm and a 4000 sq home for zip and the RE taxes are nil in Tn or KY.
