Hypocrisy From the Top Down
Once again, the left says guns have no redeeming value....unless you count the ones in this picture:
Anyone want to guess what might be hidden in those SUV's? We're guessing fully automatic weapons, sniper rifles, tactical shotguns and a few thousands rounds of ammo for each.

I know for a fact that their are snipers covering the whole route, and somewhere real close ia a suburban with an armory in the thing!

The motorcade suv has a turret that opens up and a gatling gun pops out. Seen it firsthand and its impressive.fully automatic multi barreled machine gun.
One has a turret with a mini-gun that comes out of the top, one of the most feared weapons on the battlefield.A multi-barrel machine gun.
So let's get this straight.
The mayor closes down a bunch of mental health clinics while almost every one of the mass murder shootings ends with a suicide of the shooter... and suicides as we know are a sign of mental illness.
Oh that's gonna help.
Then the Governor shuts down the prisons and turns loose as many felons as he can and the actions are blessed by the cook county president.
Gots to save that money. Too many people are getting locked up!
Then the president allows anyone to walk across the border that wants to with NO BACKGROUND CHECKS whatsoever into our Sanctuary City also with the mayors and top cops blessing. We don't know who these people are or what their culture is or if they have mental issues. Some of them bring drugs. Some of them bring weapons.
Then all these political jags have the balls to stand in front of a camera and tell you that this is America...and that putting armed police officers in our schools creates an atmosphere of fear here and that isn't the way it's supposed to be? We shouldn't be fearing what's going on this is America.
Heh. but it's their actions that created it all. Turn mentally ill people into the streets, turned know convicted and sometimes also mentally ill felons out of the prisons. But no-one should fear them! Hell naw.
They got their 24/7 body guards what's there to be afraid of.
This phony "the children" crap from Rahm, Gary and the rest of them too. If they really cared about "the children" would they not accept all feasible methods of increasing security. Instead it's more politicizing. We can't let the gun people win.
So when do the drone strikes on our own people begin as they are "suspected" terrorist because they have an assault weapon?
The laws are in place and the president needs no proof to do it. You get no trial. What' it called? The NDAA act right?
One item out of all this mess that is getting zero attention at all are the psychotropic drugs being used to treat these suicidal maniacs.
Almost every drug out there has a black box warning on it. The most serious warning the FDA issues and it warns about suicidal behavior and monitoring.
The pharma drug companies are bankrupting our health care and time will tell if their drugs are responsible for any of this.
Look at the number of kids diagnosed with ADHD for example and other disorders. We'll just put 'em on this drug and that drug and medicate the hell out of them.
Heck if we're gonna do that and it's acceptable why not just give the kid a joint to clam their ADHD down ya know? Yeah prob why pot is not legal. The pharma industry will have none of it. Too much money to be made.
Black Box Warnings people. If your kid had been prescribed any of these drugs read the black box warnings. The politicians will protect these guys because they get campaign contributions from them. They don't care about your schools or your kids. What they want are servant smart enough to run their machines buy dumb enough to figure out what's going on.

A bit interesting. A few years back Sean Penn who hates guns and thinks no one in america should have one was caught with a firearm on his person and one in his car. This stupid liberal keeps saying we should not have guns on our streets, and when caught with a weapon, his statement was, "I had it for PROTECTION, there are people out there that want to hurt me".
Think I have read this here a few times, liberals want you to do as they say, not as they do.

They aren't "clips" they are magazines. A clip goes on a few pages of paper, a magazine goes into a weapon for purposes of loading ammunition.

I recently sat next to a very sharp "right minded" 91 year old man on an airplane. He was enthusiastic about right minded, correct thinking individuals, chances in the upcoming election. Unfortunately I had to burst his bubble by telling him that BO and his followers couldn't lose. Why? He asked, they've got it all wrong. I replied, "because they're giving away "free stuff", promising something for everybody. Everyone except us that is. Those that work or have worked and accumulated some wealth and pay taxes. Now it is even more obvious how screwed up the Democrat Agenda is. Have one set of rules for them, and another set for us. Pretty funny how 9.5, Trotter, Burke, Feistein, and ......... feel that it's important to be able to protect yourself, but those of us that have been paying for all this "free stuff" can't be trusted to. What a messed up system.
Not a fan of him and his administration but this is a stretch. Regardless of his stance on weapons, he is the President of the United States and must be protected by any means necessary. Dumb as I think he is, even he must know and insist upon it. I don't think that makes him a hypocrite. Everything else he does- yes, deceitful and opportunistic.
Local politicians are a different story. I think it highly unlikely that a foreign or homegrown terrorist would feel they need to launch an attack on Ed Burke or even almighty Rahm or Daley. They are all full of shit.
Wonder how many of those same libertards own stock in gun and ammo companies like the California teachers' pension fund ? ? ?

The President is an EMPLOYEE of the People - and WE are the PEOPLE. Obama works for us as OUR employee and public servant...WHY is his life any more valuable than that of his millions of tax-paying employers?
In the Eyes of GOD, Obama's life is ABSOLUTELY no more valuable than that of any other. When Obama dies some day and meets his Maker, he gets no "credit" or special consideration for being President, and will have to answer for every evil deed he has done down here on earth, just as each of us will answer for our sins.
SCC's point is that EVERY single one of us has a God-Given Right to self-defense and be armed with guns, just as Obama is surrounded by protective guns.

I must give credit where credit is due. ObaMAO is sticking by his principles and getting rid of Secret Service protection in the White House and replacing them with a sign that designates the grounds as a Gun Free Zone.

The M-1 did use a clip, no external magazine, loaded through the top.
However the M-1 was retired long before Vietnam really got going, 1957, though there were advisors there then.
The M-14 was the service rifle when Vietnam really started. Fed by a bottom loaded magazine. Soon the troops started getting M-16's which also used a bottom loaded magazine.
For all intents and purposes, clips for service rifles are a thing of the past, WWII and Korea were the end of the line for them.

When is the last time you saw an M1 Garand anywhere other than in a collector's gun safe or a museum or during some ceremonial event?
I guess in theory someone could get one and do some damage to a school or some other gathering of people but no one is making the Garand any more. There was a large sale of M1 Garands that were supposed to go on the civilian market from some country that we gave them to years ago but Obama killed the deal.
The original post was about weapons currently in use by nutcases, large capacity magazines, readily available etc. You know, like Bushmaster, Red Rock Arms etc. M1 Garand is sort of like the 1903 Springfield or British .303 Enfield. A good rifle but just not all over the place like the M4 variants are.

They shoot them at Camp Perry. And the country was Korea. The 1903 and Enfield are bolt guns, not semi autos. Nice try, though.
The War Wagons, typically two of them travel with the POTUS, are suburbans with a big swivel seat in the back with either a SAW variant or a minigun, depending on the build. So, yeah, he doesn't travel light.

M-1 Garand. The sweetiest rifle ever made.
The government was selling M-1 Garands through the NRA to members who completed a safety program. It was callled the civilian marksmanship program. I don't know if they still do it.
