Again with the Parolees

  • Two convicted felons have been hit with a slew of criminal charges, accused of shooting two police officers and taking eight people hostage in south suburban Harvey earlier this week.

  • Both Jordan and Williams have lengthy criminal records, and were on parole at the time.

Williams’ record includes multiple stints in prison for weapons charges, hijacking, and concealing a homicide.

Jordan was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the 1990 murder of a Chicago cab driver, but was released on parole in September 2013, and was on electronic monitoring, but was unaccounted for for several hours before an arrest warrant was issued Tuesday night.

By the time a warrant was issued, the hostage standoff was 10 hours old. From Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the pair held six children and two women hostage in a Harvey home.
Multiple felonies, including a homicide, yet here he is walking around with other people, home invading, shooting cops, raping and pillaging.

I wish I knew the exact thing to do to change the system. In my opinion, no fucking parole ever. Scumbags should do the max for any violent crime then throw on another fucking decade on top of that. The system will change when a parole board member's family home is invaded by parolees and everyone is beat within an inch of their lives with a brick and then forcibly sodomized.

The prisons are over crowded, and there are to many minorities in the slam. The word from DOJ is release minorities, or else.

IDOC be too busy watching first offenders "go out of range" taking the trash out to the back for a minute.

"WHEE! WHEE! WHEE!"

I'm not a police officer but reading this makes me just as mad as you guys and gals.

A few ideas and thoughts.

1. Lets get local media start identifying the parole board or judges or whoever grants parole to these animals.

2. Lets ask local media to start showing images of these parole board members houses and neighborhoods.

3. Lets see some statistics of parolees and crime and particular voting patterns of the parole board. I imagine some patterns would appear. I'm not a betting man, but I'd be willing to wager these boards are made up mostly of liberal individuals. Is there any effort to balance out the boards with others who have different worldviews of criminals?

4. Whenever a parolee is released like one of these guys with such a background, local media should notify the community by posting their names and pictures in the newspaper, Local TV news, and online.

Lastly, why doesn't the mayor, governor and other govt leaders publicly come out against "the system"? How is it a man charged with 35 years out 10 years early in the first place? 2ndly, how is it anyone convicted of murder gets out at all?

Thanks SCC for using this blog to get out the truth. You help keep Chicago accountable to some degree, certainly more than the media or our elected officials do combined.

Sometime in the future the public will finally wake up - if the media does too - and realize that the crime problem here is due to the prosecutors and the judges, not the cops. I can't believe that we are so afraid, in Illinois, of locking bad people up.

Just an idea, but couldn't Illinois put a "moratorium" on all paroles? After all, wasn't the reason one was placed on the death penalty was because of the possibilty that "innocent" people were dying as a result? Wouldn't the same logic apply here?

Maybe suck up the extra money they bitch it costs keeping people incaracerated and give it a try for a couple years. Can you imagine the results?

These two guys should be made a study in how the criminal justice system is really screwed up. Maybe Holder should take them home for a bit to try to help them.

The mission of IDOC is to protect themselves, not you or your community. IDOC does not want any disruptions in the prisons so they use a very generous method of good time off to keep the lid on things. They have a tremendous shortage of security officers and are fearful of riots and fights.

Be careful what you post about Ferguson on social media. Two St. Louis area cops are facing suspension from their departments after their racist comments and/or posts on social media were found by media.

Thompson. Quinn sold it to the Feds. Quinn also closed Tamms, the one prison the worst prisoners were afraid of going to. They don't like a prison, better close it until we find a prison they like. How about a Holiday Inn Express?

Must still have some clout. His uncle was Judge Stuart W. from old Br 57 narcotics court.

That AW thing was a good job done by a copper getting screwed by IAD and AW. Hired a private detective who found AW living outside of the city. Living out is one of the few infractions they are bound to investigate even if made anonymously.

The city could still tell him to go scratch and force him to sue to get his job back. The Police Board is a bunch of dopes. They have proved that over and over for many years.

Quinn. He has given the marching orders to the parole boards. His policies leads to all the early release of these shitbirds.

Whatever happened to doing 85% of their sentence upon a finding of violence? Murder, agg uuw etc. sound violent enough to me, and now att. murder, agg crim sex asslt w/gun, kidnapping etc. If that doesn't get an 85% sentence, nothing ever should.

But then Rauner might be worse so which good for shit goof do you want for governor? Clarabelle Quinn or Rahm's good buddy? Picking the best out of those two is like deciding between the gallows or firing squad.

How is it that convicted MURDERERS get out of jail at all? What is the parole board thinking? Certainly the board knows that NO ONE will hire a convicted murderer....so what the hell are they going to do once they get out....even if they were "reformed" (which we all know they are not).

I'm sick and tired of the revolving-door "justice" system we have in this country. I'm pro death penalty when there is concrete evidence that the scumbag is guilty. Let's face it...there are worthless savages among us that don't contribute a goddamn thing to society. All, they do is commit crimes against & terrorize law-abiding citizens, ruining it quality of life for everyone. Take 'em out.

They don't issue warrants on lets until t lest 8!hrs. Tenant hit changed under blojo and Quinn's dministrtiib added more time to it nd cut back further on the wrrnts issued.
Also discharges more parolee erly so they don't have to supervise the. Makes parole give them hours nd hours of movement to let then roam free.

Do you need it spelled out any clearer?
