Wednesday Worse Than Thought

  • Two men were killed and at least 12 other people were wounded in shootings across the city since Wednesday morning.

Most recently, a 20-year-old man was shot to death near a Marathon gas station in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

About 2:08 a.m. Thursday, police were called to a gas station in the 100 block of South Cicero Avenue and found the man unresponsive, police said.
That's a lot of cars held down on so-called "post-shooting missions" that (A) keep police from actively looking for criminals and (B) do nothing to prevent an actual shooting. Maybe we need to concentrate on "pre-shooting missions" to tamp down the violence?

025 had a double homicide last week and as usual some cars went down on post shooting missions.
What a joke! These officers don't even know who there looking for or what actual area to patrol!! Lol
3 hours later these cars are still down while the district is in a back log.

They have assigned too many POs to different Units. There is no one left to Patrol. Thin the herd on these specialized Units and get them back in the blue and whites. Nothing stops trouble like a squad car on the beat.

The carpet bagger from New York doesn't understand that.

Post shootings mean absolutely nothing. Like in the 010 District you have 3 cars down on so call boxes and one relief car. These four cars which are manned daily do absolutely nothing. Sit all day and if they choose to respond to a call that is a block away they respond if not they go the other way or sit in the same place for hours. Completely useless. But that's what the this department wants. Everyone more contact cards please...that prevents crime..NOT.

When one happens in 019, like now, 2 Uptown beat cars can't leave their beat, except for a 10-1, under any circumstances. It's back to the "box" concept.

How are you high tax paying, punitive fee and fine paying citizen tax payer peons enjoying Rahm Emanuel's much desired 3000+ Officer (and counting) "lay-off" at CPD?

Unconfirmed but plausible chatter that Rahm wants to shrink CPD to 5K officers while redefining what a crime is to dovetail with his spin of crime being at it's lowest since Marquette and Jolliet paddled through in 1673...

When Rahm runs for higher office, his main talking point will be that he made "tough decisions" and took on the notorious CPD and it's union and made them take pay cuts, reduced pensions and made them work more hours while eliminating an entire shift while "crime" went down and Chicago became safer...

Never y'all mind them ignant m/fers in that raggedy, bullet hole riddled Olds Aurora with the mismatched 28s circling the block in reverse knocking parked cars while every widow has an asshole hanging out of it loudly touting conflicting false-flag affiliation to random passers-by and banging off guns at them even if they give the desired answer...

Rahm...
President of pests, vermin and unburied, stinking out loud dead...

He has a plan.

That is the border between 015 and 011. 015 works the shit out of cicero ave. that's where a majority of the crap hangs out, from Polk to the south to Chicago ave to the north. Literally there are 015th district squads and plainclothes driving up and down cicero all night. Just goes to show if they want dude they'll get him no matter what the police presence is. The gas station in 015 at Madison and Leamington nothing but shit all night long, gas station at 300 S. Cicero, shit all night long but for some reason they are not hot spots. I guess the owners of these places make large donations to someone. Also the liquor store at Lake and Cicero 5 a.m. license, how is that possible with all the shit going on in that community to give a liquor store a 5 a.m. license is unbelievable. Again large donation to someone.

In today's society, why would I want to do a "pre-shooting mission"? It is more trouble than it's worth. I get in trouble for doing my job. I would rather do a post shooting mission though. If a bad guy has it in for you and he and his family complain on you, get cr #'s on you then you are fucked. Welcome to call back and a scheduled meet with ipra in three to five years. No thank you. The politicians have turned a great job to shit. All of those awards and arrests don't mean shit to the bosses or the city. And that is reality folks.

The Associated Press reports that U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen, who has blocked President Obama‘s immigration executive action, hinted that sanctions could be forthcoming if he was misled about when the administration launched the controversial immigration plans.

Hanen questioned whether the administration reneged on a pledge not to implement a primary part of Obama’s program – offering people reprieve from deportations.

“Like an idiot I believed that,” Hanen said.

Off topic SCC but I just got in the mail a flyer from non other than Mary "Pothole" O'Connor 41st. It is just filled with humor and untruths. It says she is working with first responders, really? Here in 016 we are under manned, short on squads, and our PDTs never work. Hmmm, how has she worked with us, oh I remeber when asked about the lack of man power and squads she said in essence that its like that everywhere. On the inside it says she's working keep the pension promises made to first responders, really? I just read last week in the Sun Times where she is quoted saying that she would reduce pension benefits for police and Fire if needed. Of course it says reasonable steps must be taken and reforms must be passed, like maybe reduction in benefits Mary? And now for the humor, on back its says how she has fought city hall bureaucrats? Really, as one of 50 aldermen isnt Mary a city hall bureaucrat? I know she hasn't fought Rahm, she's voted with him 99% of the time. As far as doubling services like tree trimming, well me and my neighbors are still laughing at that one since our calls for tree trimming on our block are on a 3-4 yr backlog.
It must be nice in Mary's world, where she's the hero for the first responder, saving pensions, improving schools, doubling city services. I bet it rains gumdrops and jelly beans where she lives. But in the real word where we live we just keep paying and get told to shut up or quit.

http://www.infowars.com/chicago-police-commander-resigns-in-wake-of-homan-square-revelations/

A senior Chicago police commander in charge of a major unit operating out of the controversial Homan Square police warehouse has resigned, the Guardian has confirmed.

The news came as attorneys for three Homan Square victims announced that they would file the first civil rights lawsuit over the facility with the aim of shutting down the complex likened by attorneys and activists to the domestic law enforcement equivalent of a CIA “black site.”

Nicholas Roti, the chief of the bureau of organized crime, resigned from the Chicago police department last week, Chicago police public affairs officer Mike Sullivan told the Guardian.

+++++++++++

4,000 Short?

Are you morons f@cking goofs or what? The highest authorized strength we were ever at was 13,500. As of December 31st we were at 12,041. That's 1459 short for all ranks. What makes it worse is that we have record number of princes and princesses detailed to the feds. Gang teams detailed to the areas. Saturation teams out of the districts too. These offices should be back in their districts in beat cars!

If FOP demanded that every beat car was manned and all of the clout babies had to back to the districts I think they would all cry FOP isn't representing them. Where were you guys when the City-Wide team was over paying themselves over 200k per year? How about the million dollars of lawsuits that had to be settled because of their bullshit that went on while they were in office? How about trying to fix elections?

So who are you goofs? Running for office again? Why not give it a rest for another year before you start throwing your bullshit around?

The rest of us who want to retire in the next two years just want to get out before you idiots take us back to the dark ages. Dean and his crew are not perfect but they are head and shoulders ahead of you @holes that bilked us for 12 years.
