- Fr. Michael Pfleger and St. Sabina Church will sue three Chicago communities over gun sales on Tuesday morning.
The lawsuit that will be filed in Cook County Circuit Court will allege Riverdale, Lyons and Lincolnwood don't closely monitor gun sales.
The suit also claims nearly 20 percent of guns recovered from crime scenes in Chicago are purchased at gun shops in those three villages.
Is he funding this nonsense out of pocket? Because last time we checked, there were already all sorts of State and Federal rules regulating the sale of guns, none of which have been violated during repeated inspections and reviews of the documentation.

If you sue the gun stores often enough and sue the entity that they are located in often enough,they will go someplace else. Chicago has tough laws regarding gun sales and who can sell them. Unfortunately many of it's close neighbors do not. These neighbors must pay.

#1 - it's not up to the communities to monitor gun sales of Legal dealers. That's through FFL's - and it's up to the feds/BATFE.
#2 - It's illegal to sue the dealers/manufacturers - frivolous lawsuits like the one recently filed by the nitwits at the Brady group get you admonished by judges, and made to pay the defendant's legal expenses.
#3 - Why is this any of the Church's business? Who's funding this crap? It is funded by donations from "The Flock" or ...??? Who approved him doing this? Why doesn't he just speak the truth - that black on black crime is the cause of the vast majority of this nonsense?
I asked my priest how can Pfleger stay where he's at for as long as he has. After a look of disgust he said money. He said since Pfleger brings in so much money and the community would put up such a stink over this guy being moved the archbishop won't move him. Short time later like all the other priests my was sent to another parish and a new priest came in. And yet tbis asshole Pfleger stays right where he's at.
After our new priest settled in at our parish he came to us and asked if we could donate more to the church. After mass was over I walked outside and was greeted by the new priest. After some small talk about my children and what I did for a living I told my priest as long as Pfleger keeps up his antiques I couldn't donate to the church.
Apparently, the new priest new exactly what I was talking about because he didn't even argue the point with me. To this day, we have a good report. As for those envelopes we get that ask us to share our donation with another parish? Every time I see St. Sabina envelope I send it back with a note that simply says ask Pfleger for his donation.
If the fucking guy thinks he's better than every other priest than let him and his parish carry the church on their backs.
If he keeps that stuff up, he'll likely lose tax-exempt status as a 503c...

Now is the time to write Blase , as I have done and tell him until he deals with this problem I will be active in my church in all manners but 1, I will NOT donate a Thin Dime to any church or church related fund or charity. Let's hope the judge renders summary judgment with prejudice as soon as the case hits his bench. Oh, yeah, with defendants' legal costs awarded. And an investigation by the Archdiocesan Vicar for that area into whether parish funds have been used on such a foolish cause.

Because the Catholic church fails to put Pflager in his place especially when it comes to police bashing I'm asking all police and firemen who have kids at the catholic schools and those that attend church regularly to STOP GIVING AT COLLECTION time. I am born and raised catholic and have not given a dime in many years to the church because of Pflager. But, it does bring into question as to where was Father Pfleger over this historically murderous weekend? Where was he when his presence was so badly needed by his parishioners? Where was he when poor people were being terrorized? Why didn't the good Father actively campaign to prevent the violence in the days before everyone reasonably expected it to happen? The same questions could be asked of Jesse Jackson, but we know that he was in South Carolina protesting a flag. Too bad he didn't do anything either.

I do know priests that have a concealed carry permit. I told them to keep this information to themselves. There are people out there who would give a gun carrying priest a hard time. I would not be surprised if Pflager has one. I do know at one time he had a police bodyguard. But, like every liberal, they believe the answer is more and more money poured into the minority communities. They never criticize the Dorthy Brown's of the world who end up with the money.
