Officers Shoot Assailant

On-view of a drive-by and a chase ensued:
  • Chicago police officers shot at least one person early Saturday in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the Lower West Side after witnessing a drive-by shooting, police said.

About 1:30 a.m., 10th District Cmdr. Frank Valadez and a police officer assigned to the 10th District were on routine patrol when they saw someone fire shots from a vehicle into another occupied vehicle near the corner of 23rd and Wood streets, according to a statement from the Chicago Police Department.

Valadez and the officer pursued the vehicle, and near the intersection of 19th Street and Ashland Avenue, the vehicle struck several parked cars, according to the statement.

As officers tried to intercept, the suspects deliberately reversed their vehicle to strike the commander and the officer, police said in the statement.

The officers fired their weapons, striking at least one person who continued to flee but was later taken into custody after striking additional vehicles, the statement said.
The commander and officer suffered "minor" injuries. Sounds like a good job all around.

http://www.infowars.com/dark-complexioned-male-ap-refuses-to-call-cop-killer-black/

Some media outlets are refusing to identify the race of the suspect involved in the murder of a sheriff’s deputy in Houston last night, despite the fact that he is clearly black.

At around 8:30pm last night, Deputy Darren Goforth was pumping gas into his vehicle in full uniform before he was approached by a man who shot him from behind multiple times.

“Police described the suspect as a dark-complexioned male who is believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, and stands about 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall,” reports the Associated Press.

OFF TOPIC OFFICER SAFETY

I have been trying to look up a story I heard on TV news yesterday. Two people were found dead in a home and when police entered the home they were made violently sick by fumes. SUSPECT A METH LAB WAS IN THAT HOME. This shit will be popping up here.

Be careful, if you large amounts of Sudafed packages in the trash, or other chemicals or anything or smell anything else suspicious back out and call CFD for a HAZ-MAT checkout. It is not only important for safety but if a meth lab is discovered the cleanup can be expensive and could be paid for by the feds instead of the city.

I doubt it because the commander was on scene. Any other time they would be looking at suspension.

Loud Gangbangers Party All Night Long at Near West Side Park, Neighbors Say

August 28, 2015 6:59am

"Residents living near Touhy-Herbert Park on the Near West Side say they are in a never-ending "turf war" with a group of gangbangers who party in the park at all hours of the night and leave the park and nearby streets littered with liquor bottles and drug paraphernalia.

"The rowdy parties organized by Black Disciples plague the 3-acre park several nights a week and in some cases rage on until 6 a.m., with police and park district workers not doing enough to alleviate the problems...

"The park, roughly bounded by Monroe Street, Seeley Avenue, Adams Street and Leavitt Street, is three blocks west of the bustling United Center and is close to two schools. Besides the disruptive loud music late at night, neighbors also complain that trash litters the area for days afterward..."

She was actually pissed as if they were hiding it from her. Now why did she not give the description, why report it at all? If it's a male white, sorry. Worked with Frank Valadez in 012. He was an aggressive officer then and it is evident that he is now.
Then you have goofs like Barb West who refuse to get out of their unmarked car & call the Lt or Sgt on their cell phone when they are a mere 10 feet away!! And McStreetlight uses West as an example of a good exempt?? The Lt or Sgt should let the call go to voice mail and send it to McDufus for his next CompCrap Meeting.
Are there any working Female exempts or is it "mammary meritocracy?"

Where's the outrage regarding this white maggot cop killer;

The head of the Louisiana State Police says a man accused of shooting a state trooper with a sawed-off shotgun told him afterward,Kevin stated "You're lucky — you're going to die soon."
Col. Mike Edmonson said Sunday night that 43-year-old Senior Trooper Steven Vincent was fighting for his life after being shot in the head by a man whose pickup truck was stuck sideways in a ditch.

Edmonson says 54-year-old Kevin Daigle of Lake Charles, was under arrest at a hospital where he was taken after other motorists saw the fallen policeman and wrestled Daigle to the ground.

He said the truck door opened and Daigle came out with the shotgun.

30 Aug @12:31 am - The answer to your question was 1st Deputy Supt James Riordan, as the victim. 1979, at the lounge in Marina City, Riordan was shot by a M1 (& a short termed Iowa policeman) during an altercation. Still remember how the scum-times printed a photo of the 1st Dep laying wounded on the sidewalk as the paramedics were arriving. Since Riordan was off duty, the jury wouldn't give the offender the death penalty. i think the piece of s--t was paroled about 6 years ago. Even though it was 35+ years ago -'blue lives didn't matter back then either. Of course there were racial undertones during the defense's role in the trial.

RIP FIRST DEPUTY JAMES RIORDAN.

President Obama took a moment on Friday to thank the members of our nation’s law enforcement amid ongoing strife between police and communities of color.

During a speech at the National Peace Officers Memorial Service held at the U.S. Capitol at the close of Police Week, President Obama honored the lives of 131 peace officers who have died in the line of duty.

This President has divided the Country like no other. He is a disaster, and it will take decades to recover from all the damage that he has done.

But at least we can now say we elected a Black man as President. I am sure you think that it was worth it. You still have a lot of company in that. It amazes the rest of us.

The history books in ten or twenty years will be interesting reading.
