Da Bears have it in them to rule the field. Don't give up hope on this mighty team. Even when they don't win, they still look good, full of grace and poise. Go Bears!!

The Bears will cover the spread as they'll out time of possession KC and keep the scoring low. Plus, neither team has a great defense.

A little off-topic here. But, could someone at Lane Tech and CPS learn to control their homecoming crowds? Every year, it's the same overcrowded mess. Friday night was a typical disaster and squads had to rush to stop major brawls by Lane Stadium after the game once again. There was kids getting drunk by the side street in cars and by the park east of the stadium. What a colossal mess!!!!

What was this year's theme at homecoming? "Hey, let's get drunk and fight" as that's the only which was going on.

Bear down, Chicago Bears, performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (YouTube 1:26)

Bear down, Chicago Bears, make every play clear the way to victory;
Bear down, Chicago Bears, put up a fight with a might so fearlessly.
We'll never forget the way you thrilled the nation with your T-formation.
Bear down, Chicago Bears, and let them know why you're wearing the crown.
You're the pride and joy of Illinois, Chicago Bears, bear down..!!!!

Go Bears!!

OT: Am I the only asshole who couldn't figure out how to get to the Bernstein class today at Malcolm X? The place was surrounded by the marathon. Guess I'll never make detective at this rate.

A little off topic but important. Anyone have some thoughts on the election for the retirement board representative? I know Hauser has been there for a while and was there when daley's family raided our fund. I don't know the other candidate and I would hate to vote for one of rahm's people!

Same nonsense every year. The kids were getting drunk at school dismissal. A couple of years ago, we got flagged down by two kids who said their friend was in the wooded area of Clark Park, unresponsive. All the people this kid was with had left him there. At the game, we had to arrest some 15yr old drunk princess who was sneaking bottles into the stadium, and started fighting with CPS Security. A total shit-show, with tons of disturbance calls at the Mc Donald's across the street too. How many cars did they have over there for it? One, maybe two?

Hauser is useless, always has been. Vote for someone else. He is the retiree rep. Unless you are retired, you won't vote for him.

Time to put SCC in charge of the pension.
This proves them to be better at placing wagers than Vanecko et.al.

Too late! PO trustee Lappe already has the distinction of being one of "Rahm's people".
