Cool - Another Task Force!

  • Mayor Rahm Emanuel will announce on Tuesday the creation of a task force in an effort to “strengthen the fabric of trust between the Chicago Police Department and the communities it protects,” the city said in a news release.

The Task Force on Police Accountability will review the processes that hold Chicago’s police officers accountable, as well as oversight and training for the department.
Not enough that we have IAD, the Inspectors, IPRA and a full compliment of supervisors while actual officer numbers decline to historic lows. A committee is a sure-fire way of nothing getting done. Well done Rahm!

The committee chairmen will be a person who is either a felon, being currently indicted, going to or from prison, or another police hater.....Or just person Jesse Jackson Jr with wife. Hopefully they don't have the ability to make fund allocations, like the previous CPS president or who ever female felon everyone remembers

You are WAY off base here, SCC. We need this task force more than ever before. If we don't strengthen the fabric of trust between CPD and the communities on the Northwest Side that they are supposed to protect, there will be trouble. When you pay more taxes than anyone else, get your property taxes hiked while those in other parts of the city with property under $250K aren't increased, we may need to protest the socialist wealth redistribution policy and redistribution of personnel to those non-participating criminal sections of town. We even have a protest chant:

Hey, hey.
Ho, ho.
Your wealth redistribution commie crap
Has got to go.

"the communities it protects" . . . So with almost 20 years on I thought I have heard and seen just about everything, but the inhabitants of certain "communities we protect" just never cease to amaze me . . . This weekend a 15 year old gets picked up in the central business district with his 14 year old "cousin" after snatching cell phones from multiple victims. The 15 year old is on probation for a half dozen serious offenses in the last year. Momma is contacted and told she needs to come down to the station, her response; "I got no use for him, you keep him. Ya all know I keeps (in)surance on him cause when he takes a bullet I be gettin paid". What the fuck are we protecting and why?

Reason war on police, having to live in city 30 years and raise kids in this environment, neighborhood ravaged by criminal elements, anti-police rhetoric not just from citizens but from elected and police bosses!

Another task force? How many millions of tax money will be flushed? Let us guess the revs need " big pay no work" jobs to payoff their political friends! Another ridiculous waste of taxpayers money! How many taxpayers are paying? How much more services do the link card holders and thugs get compared to honest hard working tax paying residents? Retired recently looking now to move, in state as kids live in this state but not this city any recommendations of good places to move in state?

Correct me if I am wrong isn't everything that has alleged to be abhorrent with CPD directly linked to political manipulation of Department via the mayors office, states attorney's office, and the politically appointed exempts? Wouldn't a federal monitor of City Hall activities be more prudent? It wasn't the rank and file or front line supervisors involved in the McDonald incident, Rahm lied to be re-elected.

No one was ever punished for the Koschman debacle. Now Rahm and Anita are throwing VanDyke under the bus to deflect the heat off of them. 1st degree murder is that whacked out bitch bumping the crack pipe? where is the premeditated intent? Anita's best hope is the trail takes a long time -long enough to carry though her re-election Ala Rahm.

VanDyke's shooting may very well be judged justified once independent experts view the evidence. The video alone does not prove any clear cut maleficence. Anita has all ready turned her back on the police nallying the Aggravated Battery charges for the officer who was punched during the demonstrations. Rahms making us wear cameras, He's the one who should wired up 24/7. He wont release his Text messages for the Supps / CPS investigation. If some investigative body filed a F.O.I. for phone records of Rahm and his staff around the time they settled with McDonald Tina Dancer would removed from office.

Tear a page from the political playbook. Those of you who follow Chicago politics will recall this political maneuver. Whenever the shit hits the fan, assemble a "blue ribbon" committee of sorts. Their mission is to study an issue and make recommendations. Non binding recommendations. That's lesson 1.

Lesson 2 is if you see the shit is about to hit the fan, on a really hot issue, find a country to go to for a symposium or conference of some sort. All politicians, local and national do it all the time. They make for great photo ops and usually by the time they get back to their constituents, they've had time to develop a strategy of denial.

Why do you think there's so many "fact finding" missions?

It certainly appears that a certain big boss man has committed a rule 2 violation bringing some major discredit to the department with the cook county board president and several elected alderman calling for his resignation. Funny how officers reading a case report they have access to is also a rule 2 violation when no elected officials are calling for them to resign. That doesn't sound like quite the discredit to the department in retrospect now does it.

Just another way to get more fake reverends, and connected relatives/friends on the city's payroll. Another committee is just what we need. As citizens being held hostage with residency requirements, you should demand a committee also. A committee that investigates the mayor and city council...oh wait, we had an inspector general doing that...wait...didn't he leave because the mayor and city council wouldn't let him do his job legally? Yeah...another committee to oversee the police. We're always portrayed as the bad guys. At least I'm retired and am looking forward to leaving this shithole near third world excuse of a city in the very near future.

Well, you can see that no matter what is in place, the liberal and anti-police elements will not be satisfied. The left wingers want McCarthy out to be replaced by a black, they want an elected police board and an elected civilian review board with subpoena power and indictment power. They want more affirmative action in all ranks. You will never satisfy these people and what happened in Baltimore will support this theory. If you look at their police department is it everything the liberals want and the city is on fire with crime through the roof. Police work will become nothing else then report taking.

the new task force should ensure that every district had five beat cars in a sector . Citizens in some district have 3 cars in a sector , some 4 , some have 5 and special units assigned . Will the task force find all the police officers that are still assigned to desk duty .

Grau on the committee another joke. He was Joe Miedzanowskis partner in gangs for a year and also was the Dept Supt Investigative services when Koschman happened and told Webb he knew nothing even after Malloy told Webb he met with Grau on the matter.Stay tuned for more pandering and black bullshit matters.Anyone who takes the Sups job is high on himself and has an ego problem and will be a boot licker for the fake rev's and the corrupt politicians.Remain fetal in Rahms words.

"Just A Citizen's Opinion: The only job that task force should have is to find out why you men and women aren't fully armed while on the job. WHERE WERE THE TASERS ? Why should any police officer anywhere be denied access to non-lethal weaponry? To only carry firearms is not being fully armed. McDonald could have been neutralized from 10-15 feet away and this whole thing could have been avoided."

12/01/2015 12:17:00 PM

* Taser is "usually less-than-lethal." About 40 people die from being tased every year.

* Taser is not always effective on persons under the influence of drugs like PCP -- like LaQuan Mcdonald. PCP users have chewed through standard steel handcuffs, and some have absorbed 30 rounds of 9mm before ceasing their aggression. That is what is out there.

* It has been proven through extensive, repetitive testing with dummy weapons that someone with a knife standing 23 feet away can drive that knife home in ONE AND ONE-HALF SECONDS -- often before a holstered pistol can be drawn, aimed, and fired. The accepted safety distance has now been increased to 30 feet.

* So you close in to 10 feet. Not me.

RULE OF THUMB, SHEEPle of CHIRAQ::

Anytime a Chicago mayor appoints a "blue ribbon committee" (aka: "task force") to "study" a controversial situation, it's nothing more than a corrupt political pretext to divert righteous public criticism to cover his guilty ass until the heat dies down. As predictable, the complicit local MSM will pontificate that it's all good because our "honorable" weasel mayor has appointed a mob (of his cherry-picked kangaroos) to "study" the problem. No hurry, 'roos. Take your time, at least until the fury evaporates. STALL!

A COVER-UP is paramount to my survival.

Maybe they should start another Task Force to determine the following:
Who should collect the 5 Mil that the city gave to the Laquan Affair.?
Who was responsible for Laquan McDonald? Him being a ward of the state?
Why was he a ward of the state?
Where did he get the PCP and the knife?
Why was he in Archer Heights at that time?
Where does he live?
How did he get to Archer Heights?
Should the state be held accountable for his actions?
Are all Wards of the state drug users?
Are all Wards of the state drug dealers?
12/01/2015 09:40:00 AM

Maybe they should deduct all the money the state had to pay for laquan out of the 5 million settlement.

Some activist said removal of McCarthy is a start , but change of Poleece culture must change .
He should really look at changing gang culture, way of life in his community , Here's a few suggestions preach to the teens no babies until they are married , no shooting 9 year old children , find a job , get off welfare , obey the law , if you don't obey the law teach them to drop their weapons , don't sell or use drugs . He should start a change right there and police officers would not have to use force to make an arrest .

Tear a page from the political playbook. Those of you who follow Chicago politics will recall this political maneuver. Whenever the shit hits the fan, assemble a "blue ribbon" committee of sorts.
Did you sat Blue Ribbon Committee?

Thats the old Mayor Harold Washington shuffle, Daley never used that he'd just mumble nobody understood what he said anyway but he looked concerned. NICE to see Razhm pulling that one and who knows what else out of his ass. Rham was a professional dancer before he became a professional thief and horribly bad lair.

Just wait to you see this liberal retard dream team.

My Personal Accountabilty Task Management goal is to achieve an eventless and effortless 1st &16th.
Forget the interaction with the neighborhood deviants, derelicts, degenerates, and deranged.
Calls should be responded to in the most safe, economical and climate friendly green manner.
The responsibility of bringing civility and order to 'the community' will be left to the rev-runs and the community organizers.
They have all the answers then let them handle their own problems.

Rahm has been cutting the budget everywhere when it comes to the CPD. He hasn't been paying the bills to TASER (stands for Thomas A. Swift's Electric Rifle, no kidding ). That's why we don't have enough of them.

Deval Patrick perfect for Chicago.

In June 2015, the Boston Herald reported that the Patrick's administration secretly diverted nearly $27 million in government funds to off-budget accounts that paid for trade junkets tab, advertising contracts, and a deal with a federally subsidized tourism venture backed by U.S. Sen. Harry Reid. According to the Herald, state legislators never approved the funding, which began in 2009 when Patrick's office directed quasi-public state agencies, including the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and Massport to begin funding off-budget trusts. The Associated Press reported that Speaker Robert DeLeo called for review of the use of trust Patrick.

New strategy...get your car, park your car hidden from the dirty community zombies, take your lunch, and check off. That's very safe and no room for liability. If you get hurt, sue the city. I can't remember when I had an actual victim in the south. Remember kids, give them what they ask for...no police.
