And you'd think that the world was ending.

I hope his family held Thanksgiving diner for him at his home or where ever he is staying and the district is keeping the media and other wolves from his door.

For the Non-FOP people who read this blog and may want to contribute to his family and defense can we put up an address and how to make out a check. Is there a way to do this so it is not taxable.

Norris Greenhouse, one of 2 black officers who shot and killed Jeremy Mardis, a white 6 year old, also made bail recently in louisiana. But I guess nobody will hear about that one. And there is body cam video that still hasn't been seen and the media isn't saying anything about it.

As far as I can remember we still live under the U.S. Constitution, but to the dismay of the SJW who would rather shred the document and our Rights.

I saw this on the news. Did any of these idiot reporters think that this guy was going to answer any of their questions?! Their stupidly level never ceases to amaze.

I'm glad he's out,but was very disappointed that when he was released, with the savages from the media waiting, you would think the Sheriffs would help out with some professional courtesy and give him an escort to his car,but not one was anywhere to be seen.

If the officer has ties to the community and is not a flight risk, he deserves reasonable bail. He ain't gonna go on a robbery and murder spree. He ain't gonna be slinging drugs on the corner on 40th.

I am glad he is out. He is safer at home.

He isn't going to run. He had a year to do something stupid like that, and he didn't.

Where to begin I'll start here:

Watched fox Chicago News, many troubling aspects:

Jason shackled, brought into court by sheriff "special response team" members which is like junior swat, used for the baddest individuals like thug gang bangers!

Jason exiting why could he not use rear exit, so not to be attacked by media mobs?

Dart what is wrong with you? Anti-police also? You could not use your "special response team" to escort Jason and his father to waiting vehicle? You have done it before for others Tommy!

Dean was asked about protection for Jason, Dean rightfully said "it is up to department, Fox News talked to department and was told "no protection for Jason or his family!" You protect many people but not an "innocent until proven guilty police officer!"

You want us to "go get them" boss sorry "no more" pathetic gold star club with strings being pulled by puppet masters!

Three illegals are caught with 35 kilos of heroin and 900K and are given an I bond. Isn't that great? We are below on the rung of credibility than illegals that are career criminals that are not even Americans. Fuck this place.

The media is disgustingl,As he was leaving Cook County Jail, he, other officers and fop reps. were swarmed by the media. The reporters Practically shoved a mic in their faces, in an attempt to interview them. It was vicious and disturbing, Also saw how Fox News purposely showed the plate information of the vehicle being driven away.

Media affecting great astonishment -- "He walked out of the Cook County Jail!"

In classic call-and response style, the ignorant will again start surging back and forth, chanting, "16 SHOT! HE WALK OUT! 16 SHOT! HE WALK OUT!"

Well, what are you supposed to do? Grasp the bars firmly and refuse to leave?

The bail amount was excessive and capricious.

I was watching the media camped out to catch the poor guy on his way out. How what occurred to him wasn't a battery, I can't comprehend. These morons were actually hitting him with their microphones demanding he answer stupid shit like "you really think 16 shots were necessary?" God, I hate the media. Anyone have details on contributing to his defense fund?

Since when is the FOP in the bail bonds business? Other officers weren't allowed to use FOP funds to make bail. Are they playing favorites or are all officers entitled to the same. It's all our funds.we can't have double standards Dean Angelo.what other rules are you going to implement on your own Dean?

Jason is innocent until proven guilty but the whores in the media ( I aploligize to the working girls ) have him convicted before the trial. They love saying, " white police officer shoots black teen 16 times." The whores from 2 and 5 were the worst, sticking the microphone in his face, " why did you shoot 16 times?" They aren't reporters they're hacks. ♠️

Last time courtesy was given to your commander out the side door, the sheriff himself had the lieutenant who gave the ok to do that disciplined and moved way out to a facility far from where he lived as punishment. We at the sheriff's office always give courtesy to our fellow brothers in blue who are in need of courtesy. But when we have a lawyer sheriff who never was been law enforcement and hates the people who he represents. We are forced to do what he ultimately says or face severe in house punishment.

FOP is paying the legal bills. They have never posted bail for any officer. We were lucky the SOS shit was not in the performance of duty.
